The window

Contact Indian Furniture within 10 days of delivery to raise a return. Notifying us inside that window is what matters; the item does not have to be back with us by then.

Damaged, wrong or incomplete

Report within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the carton and its contents. An unboxing video is strongly recommended – with flat-packed shelving it is the clearest way to show a bent upright or a cracked shelf. We review what you send and arrange a replacement, a replacement part, or a refund where applicable.

Missing fixings, brackets or a shelf are treated as an incomplete order: we send the missing parts rather than asking for the whole unit back.

What can be returned

  • Unassembled units in their original carton and packaging.
  • Anything that arrived damaged, incorrect or incomplete.

Assembled units and shelves that have been drilled into a wall cannot be returned as a change of mind. Once an anchor has gone into a shelf and a wall, neither is in resale condition. Dimensions and load ratings are printed on every product page precisely so that this decision can be made before ordering.

Return shipping

  • Change of mind: paid by the customer – and on long shelving cartons that is a significant cost.
  • Damaged, wrong or incomplete, confirmed as our error: covered or reimbursed by us.

Refunds

Processed within 5 business days of the return arriving and being checked, to the original payment method. Cash-on-delivery orders are refunded by transfer using bank or UPI details you provide. Your bank then takes its own time.

A duplicate payment on the same order is refunded within 5 business days once we confirm the duplicate transaction – handled separately from any return.

Fees

No restocking fee.

Exchanges

We do not offer a direct exchange. If you would like a different item, return the unused piece in its original packaging within the return window for a refund and place a fresh order.
